Common FAQs: Training

Can I assign users to training?

To assign users to training, please contact Coffective Support (solutions@coffective.com). Inviting a new user to join your organization does NOT grant them access to training.

Can I delete learners who are no longer at my organization?

Administrators can remove users from being associated with their organization. However, this will NOT remove the user from your training dashboard, as it would cause discrepancies in the seats purchased vs. seats used counts.

Is training aligned with Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative's (BFHI) Guidelines and Evaluation Criteria 6th Edition?

The BFHI 6th Edition criteria require skills-based competencies with supporting didactic training. Coffective's new Breastfeeding Skills Competency is aligned with Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative's (BFHI) Guidelines and Evaluation Criteria 6th Edition.

What if my organization had unused seats for discontinued training?

Clinical Facilities

Clinical facilities (i.e., hospitals and prenatal clinics) with unused seats can:

  • Switch to Breastfeeding Skills Competency: If you have unused seats after June 30, 2024, you will NOT lose them. Any new learners will be assigned Coffective's new training offering, Breastfeeding Skills Competency.
  • Forfeit Seats: If your facility would no longer like to use Coffective training, you can forfeit your unused seats. Refunds for unused seats will not be available.

Public Health- & Community-Based Groups

WIC and other non-clinical groups (i.e., home visiting and other public health- or community-based groups) with unused seats can:

  • Switch to Breastfeeding Skills Competency: If you have unused seats after June 30, 2024, you can choose to convert them to Breastfeeding Skills Competency seats. However, please note this training is clinically-focused. Converted seats must be used by June 30, 2026.
  • Switch to Another Training & Forfeit Seats: After June 30, 2024, we encourage WIC and other non-clinical groups (i.e., home visiting programs, community groups, etc.) to use the USDA's revamped WIC Breastfeeding Curriculum or another comparable, updated offering from another training provider. Unused seats after the discontinuation date will be forfeited. Refunds for unused seats will not be available.
